Career opportunities are unequally granted between genders, everybody is aware of that, and yet things do not evolve as they should. So at some point, I think as women we should stop waiting from others to come to us with opportunities. To my mind the best solution to move gender equity forward is to prove to those who don’t want to believe in us, that we are talented. To do so, women need to inspire and be able to count on each other. That’s why EIW will continuously highlights achievements of resourceful women and connects them to female students, so they can be aware and prepared for what awaits them.

Helping the foundation of Edhec Inspiring Women has been (and still is) an incredible experience. Through our conferences and networking events, we thrive to inspire our peers and motivate them to surpass themselves.
To me, our spirit is all about sharing ideas, promoting tolerance and open-mindedness to seize even greater opportunities for our professional life !

EDHEC Inspiring Women is a door of opportunity for all female EDHEC students, including myself. With EIW, female students are able to shape themselves professionally not only to become who they determine to be, but also to what they desire to be.
Yes! We, as women, can study. However, we could do and become more. We could be leaders, entrepreneurs, traders or even working in industries that are still unfortunately preserved for gentlemen in these days.
Additionally, I strongly believe that if Inspiring Women share their experiences, which could be beautiful or troublous, that they have been through to become successful leaders today, it would motivate other young and talented female Students to make their own impacts.

With persistent effort and actions of EIW members, I pictured Oprah Winfrey as guest honor and mentor for EIW in ten years from now. From my views, EIW has missions to prepare women for unforeseen circumstances and to prevent women for hard reality by giving them tools and skills. EIW will continuously strengthen women leadership and unite them to create greater impacts, as we ultimately believe that women do wonders.

Nowadays, even if things have been changed and evolved, the accessibility of management careers is still not the same for the women as for the men. However, there’s a new reason to that: women do not dare to portray themselves in such careers because they’ve heard all their life « Are you sure? Because you know, it’s a men sector ». That is the problem, and we would like to change this view that young women have, preparing them for the arrival time of choosing their career path. We want them to think, « Well, of course I can ». We are here because the cause is still here; so please, Make us causeless.
